Hi, I'm Claire!
And I'm so glad that you found me here.
I'm a mother, a Behavioural Therapist and a Parenting Coach.
I believe that the most powerful thing you can do for your child is to build a connection with them- one that takes root when they're young and continues to grow into a strong, sturdy tree through every season of life.
My Journey
Over the years, I've worked alongside children and families in a variety of settings. At Autism Resource Centre, I spent seven years supporting children with autism and developmental differences, helping them build communication, social, emotional, and learning skills while working closely with families and educators. I also supported children preparing for the transition into mainstream schools, giving me a deep appreciation for the challenges many families face as children move through different stages of development.
As a shadow teacher in an inclusive preschool setting, I worked alongside children in the classroom, adapting learning experiences, supporting emotional regulation, facilitating peer interactions, and helping children participate meaningfully in everyday school life.
In private practice, I continue to support both neurodiverse and neurotypical children through behavioural therapy, school consultations, observations, and parent coaching. My approach draws from evidence-based practices and attachment-informed principles, while always recognising that no two children are the same.
The work isn't about getting children to behave. It's about understanding the child behind the behaviour and supporting meaningful, lasting change.
